Juan brought us his 2006 GMC Savannah Conversion van and wanted it to be converted to a basic camper RV with a kitchen/water. He needed sleeping for not only himself but a young child. After removing the original back seating, we custom created a couch bed system, including seatbelts and a dinette table. We custom built kitchen cabinetry, added stainless sink, faucet, pump water and laminated the counter with his choice. A 1.8 cu. ft. fridge and 700 watt microwave was added. We reinstalled the extra seat for carrying another passenger. We moved some electronics and changed the under windows areas for a stylish flow and convienence. We installed a 13500 BTU Low Profile AC system and custom designed ceiling trim. It was powered with 2 AGM heavy Duty Batteries, 1500 inverter, 25 amp charge system with automatic switching from inverter to shore. It included 30 amp shore power connection and cord. We installed recessed lighting, outlets and trimmed it out to look stylish. Because this vehicle was a conversion van already with walls, ceiling and floor...it was very affordable!!!
